The City of Chadron will be accepting application for the position of Full-time Parks/Cemetery Maintenance Worker for the Public Works Departments. This position is responsible for performing tasks related to the care, maintenance and construction of grounds, buildings, and equipment in the City parks and cemetery system.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Two years experience in repair and maintenance work in a parks/cemetery system.
• Ability to obtain commercial pesticide applicator license within one year.
• Ability to perform heavy manual tasks under varying weather conditions.
• Valid Nebraska Driver's License with class B CDL.

Required Pre-employment drug test.

The City of Chadron will be filing the following positions: Swimming Pool Assistant Manager and Lifeguards for the Chadron Swimming Pool.

• Operator's License (acquired through State of Nebraska Dept. of Heath)
• Water Safety Instructor (WSI).
• Must be 18 years of age

• Must be 16 years of age

All applicants must have current life guarding certificate, current certification in CPR and First Aid. Must be in good physical health.

WSI certification is desired, but not required for lifeguard positions. Copy of current certifications must be attached to application.
