Summer Reading Events are just around the corner! The Kickoff Party is May 25th at 2:00pm to 5:00pm at Memorial Park and the Aquatics Center. There will be Food, games and Smokey the Bear will be present! Register at this time for the summer reading program and get a bag of goodies.
Pool Ticket Registration starts up May 6. Tickets are limited to 90 and you get one per person. Only valid on May 25th from 2:00pm to 5:00pm. The only way to get a ticket is to come to the Public Library and go downstairs and register.
Chadron Public Library has partnered with USDA Forest Service here in Chadron to bring you fun activities and more! The Smokey the Bear workshop is May 31, where parents and kids can show up and discuss the Smokey Reading Challenge! Did you know Smokey is turning 80 this year? Do you know when his actual birthday is? At the workshop you get to figure all that out. Even better we have a Smokey the Bear Coloring contest! Coloring Sheets and the rules and information can be found downstairs of the Public Library.
