If you live in city limits you can apply for a hand gun permit through the Chadron Police Department. You will need a driver’s license that reflects your current address and $5.00 to process the application. You can obtain a copy of your accident report resulting in less then $1000 in damages through the Chadron Police Department for $5.00. If the accident resulted in more than $1000 in damages you can obtain a copy of your accident report through the Chadron Police Department for $5.00 or you can get it through the Nebraska Department of Roads website.

You can come into the Chadron Police Department to retrieve a police report for $5.00. However, the Chief of Police will review and approve the report and remove any information he deems non-public before it will be released.
